CANEX Rewards Program - FAQs

To become a member of the CANEX Rewards Program you can apply for a CFOne Card online at www.CF1FC.ca the loyalty program that rewards you for shopping at CANEX. Your CFOne membership is activated once your eligibility is confirmed and your CFOne card will be mailed to you within 5-10 days. The CFOne Card will be used to access your CANEX Rewards for earning and redeeming points. Members must hold a valid CFOne card to participate in the CANEX Rewards program.

No, your CANEX Rewards account is FREE!

The CFOne Card is the one card you need to access the CANEX Rewards Program; the loyalty program that rewards you for shopping at CANEX and other programs and services delivered by Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) at bases/wings and units. You will need a CFOne Card to redeem your CANEX Rewards points. If you only have an account number there are two options:

(1) If you only have a CANEX Rewards number (starting with 6012) you will need to apply for a CFOne card at https://cf1fc.cfmws.com/Join/Register. Be sure to include your CANEX Rewards number for your current points balance to be transferred to your new CFOne card.

(2) If you only have a CFOne Number (starting with 1000), you will need to apply for a CFOne Card to continue earning and redeeming points. Please contact our CFOne Administrator at CF1FC@cfmws.com or call 1-855-245-0330 (toll-free) to receive a card with your existing CFOne account number so that you can continue being rewarded for buying the things you love!

No, your CANEX Rewards Points do not expire as long as you maintain an active account. Maintaining an active account means that you make at least one qualifying purchase, presenting your CFOne Card at the time of purchase to earn points or redeem points within a 24 consecutive month period.

If you don’t earn or redeem CANEX Rewards Points for 24 consecutive months, the membership will be deemed to be inactive and all accumulated CANEX Rewards Points will be forfeited and expired. At that time the CFOne Card Points balance may be reduced to zero at CANEX’s sole discretion.

An exception to recover forfeited accumulated points due to an inactive account status is if the CANEX Rewards Member has been deployed outside of Canada for more than 24 consecutive calendar months where the member was not able to earn or redeem eligible CANEX Rewards Points. The recovery of forfeited points may be considered only through a request submitted by the CANEX Rewards Member account holder. CANEX Rewards Points may be reimbursed at CANEX’s sole discretion.

There are three convenient ways you can look up your CANEX Rewards Points balance:
1. It appears on every purchase receipt from CANEX.
2. You can contact the CANEX Rewards Administrator for assistance by email at CanexRewardsAdmin@cfmws.com or by phone at 1-877-748-8230 (toll-free)
3. You can log into www.CANEX.ca to check your CANEX Rewards account. (COMING SOON!)

If you discover any discrepancy in points, please contact our team within 60 days of the transaction date. You will need to provide information to verify your CFOne membership and your receipt(s). Please contact the CANEX Rewards Administrator by email at CanexRewardsAdmin@cfmws.com or by phone at 1-877-748-8230 (toll-free); we will gladly look into this for you.

Each family member will be required to have their own individual CFOne card as it allows access to various Morale and Welfare Services at bases/wings and units. See the full list of benefits of the CFOne Card, here.

CANEX encourages each authorized patron to apply for their own CFOne card so that they too can enjoy the advantages of the CANEX Rewards Program. The CFOne card will also provide them the benefit to access additional Morale and Welfare Services at bases/wings and units.

If you want to return or exchange your purchase, the CANEX Rewards Points earned from that purchase will be automatically adjusted from the CFOne Member’s card number that was used for the original purchase). For full details on returns or exchanges, refer to the CANEX Return Policy.

If an order is canceled or returned, any CANEX Rewards Points awarded for that purchase will be automatically deducted.

For example, if you buy a $20 item you will earn 20 points. However, if you decide to return the $20 item the 20 points earned from that purchase will automatically be deducted from your account.

In case of a lost CFOne Card, you are required to contact the CFOne Membership Administrator by email at CF1FC@cfmws.com or by phone at 1-855-245-0330 (toll-free), as soon as possible. Based on the time the CFOne Card is reported lost or stolen, the accumulated unredeemed CANEX Rewards Points balance shall remain intact.

If a lost CFOne Card is found and used by any other person, all CANEX Rewards Points relating to purchases made by such other person will be deducted from the CANEX Rewards Member’s account. Any CANEX Rewards Points redeemed prior to notifying CANEX regarding lost or stolen card will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Keeping your profile current with the latest changes to your contact information will help us keep you in the loop with any updates to the CANEX Rewards program; excluding promotional communications unless you have opted in to our CANEX email list.

Purchase: Earn 1 point for every $1 spent.

CANEX Rewards Points can be earned using your CFOne Card on qualifying purchases made in-store or online. Earn 1 point for every $1 spent (excluding taxes or shipping costs). Please refer to the section indicating exclusions.

CANEX may offer special promotions from time to time offering additional CANEX Rewards Points on certain products.

When purchasing with a Gift Card, points will be earned on the purchase subtotal amount, not including taxes. For purchases on CANEX.ca, gift card amount can only be applied to the purchase of merchandise only. (i.e. shipping, delivery fees cannot be paid with the gift card). CANEX Rewards Points will not be awarded if you use a gift card to purchase another gift card. CANEX reserves the right at any time to revoke points that were inadvertently awarded.

1 CANEX Rewards point is awarded for every $1 spent on qualifying products or services. CANEX Rewards points are awarded only on the subtotal (or before tax value) of your purchase. No points will be awarded on applicable shipping costs. If the subtotal of your purchase is an uneven number, the points awarded for the purchase will be rounded down to the nearest whole dollar. For example, if the subtotal of your purchase is $22.56 you will earn a total of 22 points for the purchase.

From time to time, CANEX may present promotional event(s) or Bonus Points offer(s) on specific products in which total CANEX Rewards points awarded will be calculated based on that specific promotion or offer. Please refer to the section indicating exclusions.

If you’ve forgotten to provide your CFOne Card, save your receipt(s). You can claim missing points for purchases made within the last 60 days of the transaction date by contacting the CANEX Rewards Administrator at CanexRewardsAdmin@cfmws.com or calling 1-877-748-8230 (toll-free). Please have your CFOne card and your purchase receipt(s) ready. Claims for purchases dated before a Member joins the CANEX Rewards Program will not be a valid claim.

CANEX Rewards Points will NOT be issued on the purchase of the following items/services, where sold:

  • Any cigarettes and tobacco products
  • Lottery tickets
  • Alcohol, beer or wine
  • Bus tickets or bus passes
  • Phone cards
  • Gift cards and prepaid card products, CANEX- branded gift cards, or third-party gift cards
  • CANEX Credit Plan Payments (where accepted)
  • Delivery charges
  • Eco fees or levies
  • Bottle deposit/returns (where accepted)
  • Gift with purchases
  • Charitable donations
  • Provincial taxes, federal taxes, and harmonized taxes
  • Stamps, postal services and merchandise
  • Garbage tags
  • Event tickets
  • CANEX Rewards Points redemption on a transaction (cannot earn points on dollar amounts where points were redeemed to pay for the purchase)
  • Admin Fees
  • Tire Recycling Fee
  • Tire Extended Warranty
        

CANEX Rewards Points can NOT be redeemed on the purchase of the following items/services, where sold:

  • Any cigarettes and tobacco products
  • Lottery tickets
  • Alcohol, beer or wine
  • Bus tickets or bus passes
  • Phone cards
  • Gift cards and prepaid card products, or third-party gift cards
  • Garbage tags
  • Event tickets

Any other items specified as exclusions from time to time or where prohibited by law. Please refer to the CANEX Rewards Program Terms and Conditions as the main source and most current list of exclusions.

For in-store purchases, points will be available for redemption on your next purchase if you reach one of the redemption levels.

For CANEX.ca purchases, points will be available for your online order once the purchase has been shipped. At that point, your CANEX Rewards points are earned based on the online purchase date.

You can start redeeming your CANEX Rewards Points when you reach one of the below redemption levels:

Using your CFOne Card, your CANEX Rewards Points can be redeemed in-store at all participating CANEX store locations across Canada. Online points redemption on CANEX.ca will be available soon – keep up to date by following our Facebook. Some exclusions apply for points redemption.

To redeem your points in-store, present your CFOne Card at the time of purchase. Points can be redeemed as soon as you reach the first redemption level (800 points for $10) or any of the redemption levels shown above. Points cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash.

Find it at your local store
