Game Play: Kubb is a game played with 2-4 players divided into two teams.

The goal of the game is to knock over all the opposing team’s Kubb pieces, followed by the King Kubb piece. Team A begins game play, standing behind the base line, throwing their 2 batons one at a time, aiming to topple over as many of team B’s Kubb pieces as they can.

Once Team A has finished their throws, Team B tosses any of their toppled Kubbs into Team A’s field in a move called an inkast. Team A sets the thrown Kubbs upright in the location where they landed ; Team B now has the opportunity to attack Team A’s Kubbs.

The first team to knock over all Kubbs and the King Kubb is declared the winner of the game. Games are often played in a best of 3 format. The first team to win the majority of the games is declared the winner of the Kubb Tournament.
