Holiday Order Shipping Timelines

The CANEX order fulfillment team is working hard to ship your order as quickly as possible. We recommend placing your holiday orders as soon as possible to avoid delay. Orders going to major cities should be placed before December 19th and orders being shipped to rural addresses should be placed before December 14th to avoid disappointment. While we cannot guarantee your order will arrive before December 25th we will pack and ship, as quickly as possible.

Endless Aisle Items:

Some of our items ship from 3rd party vendors and may not adhere to the same timelines above, those items are marked with EA1, EA2, or EA3 in the product title.

Items marked with EA in the product title should be ordered before December 8th to avoid dissapointment. While we cannot guarantee your order will arrive before December 25th our vendors will pack and ship, as quickly as possible.

If my package gets lost, who do I contact?

You can contact the carrier with the tracking number provided in the shipping confirmation email. Alternatively, you can contact us by emailing Service@cfmws.com or call 1-877-441-6161. Please report missing package immediately.

What happens if I am not home to receive my package?

If you are not home to receive your package the carrier will leave a note with the address of the closest carrier’s outlet where you can pick it up. You will need to show a photo ID in order to claim the package.

The wrong product was shipped to me - what do I do?

To arrange return of the wrong product, please contact us by emailing Service@cfmws.com or call 1-877-441-6161.

When will my order ship?

Items that are in stock are typically shipped within 7 business days from the purchase date. 

  • Certain products shipped from a warehouse in a different region could increase delivery times. Delivery times can vary based on the carrier used.
  • Some orders may contain items shipped from several locations, which may result in staggered delivery times. 
  • Some orders ship directly from our vendors and may be subject to alternate shipping carriers and delivery times

How do I know my order has been shipped?

When your order ships, we will send you an email with a tracking number. If there are several items, multiple shipments may be necessary, and you will receive multiple confirmation emails.

Which shipping service provider do you use to ship?

We use both Canada Post and Purolator for most parcel shipments but may rely on other couriers for specific shipments.

How much does shipping cost?

CANEX offers FREE shipping for CFOne members some exceptions apply. You must be signed in to your CFOne account on CANEX.ca to qualify for free shipping. Non-members will be charged a flat-rate shipping fee of $15.

Do you ship to addresses outside of Canada?

For exceptional cases such as shipping to deployed Canadian Armed Forces members overseas please contact us by email at Service@cfmws.com
*Please note that orders outside of Canada do not qualify for Free Shipping.

What are the different ways you ship to me?

In order to provide you with the best possible service, CANEX.ca offers a variety of shipping options to choose from:

In-Store Pick Up: It is fast, free and convenient. Order online and pick up the items at a CANEX location near you. You can pick up items at CANEX locations only if the product is available, and in stock at that location. An email confirmation will be sent to advise you when the item is ready for you to pick up at the selected store.

Ship to Home/Standard Delivery Economical delivery method. CANEX offers FREE shipping on most orders over $50 (before taxes, fees, and promo codes) - some exceptions apply.  Shipping charge of $5 will apply to your purchase for orders under $50 (before taxes, fees, and promo codes)

NOTE: To ensure that orders shipped to PO boxes and rural route addresses get to their proper destination, please include a physical street address, highway number and/or contact phone number when you place your order.

*Delivery services may vary by carrier or location and may require pickup of product(s) at a local postal outlet or distribution center.

How do I track my order?

After placing your order, an order confirmation email will be sent to you that contains the tracking number for either Canada Post or Purolator. You can then use the tracking number to monitor the status of your order. You can also obtain the carrier and tracking number through the Order Status page on CANEX.ca.

*Please note that tracking may not be available for up to 24 hours after your order has been shipped. Tracking numbers do not apply to Scheduled Delivery items.

Wait for an email stating your order is ready for pick up and then head down to your selected store.

New: Buy Online & Pick Up In Store! 

 

CANEX.ca is happy to introduce our new Buy Online, Pick Up In Store delivery option on almost all products available at your local CANEX store. You can use our new product availability feature that is visible on all product pages to ensure that the item is available at your local store. Our stores will work diligently to prepare your order within 24 hours but delays may occur depending on the number of orders. 

  1. Find the product you would like to pick up in store by browsing CANEX.ca or using our search tool.
  2. Verify the product is available at your local CANEX store using our new product availability tool visible on all product pages. 
  3. Add your item(s) to cart and proceed to the checkout page. 
  4. At checkout select “Pick Up In Store” instead of delivery.
  5. Select your local CANEX store as the pick up location. Note: All items must be in stock at your location of choice to proceed. 
  6. Complete the checkout process after which you will receive an order confirmation email. 
  7. Please Wait – Once the store has prepared your order you will receive a second email which will let you know that your order is ready for pick up.  
  8. Proceed to your local CANEX store with your Order # and government issued ID. Once in the store look for our “Pick Up In Store” signage or talk to the nearest employee.

How do I place an order to pick up in store?

Go online to canex.ca and begin to shop for your desired items. Select the items you would like to order and add them to your cart. From your cart, select the "Pick up in Store" option. Select your local canex store and complete your order.

How does the Pick up in Store process work?

After placing your order, you will receive a series of email messages. First, you will get an order confirmation acknowledging receipt of your order. Then, you will receive a Pick up in Store notification email when your order is ready to be picked up at the location you selected.

How will I know when my order is ready?

When your order is ready, you will receive a Pick up in Store notification email which will include instructions for picking up your order.

How much will I be charged to pick up in store?

Pick up in Store orders are free of charge.

How quickly are orders processed and ready for pick up?

Orders will typically be processed within 1 business day. Please wait for your Pick up in Store notification email before going to the store as processing times may vary.

Where do I pick up my order once I arrive at the store?

After you receive your Pick up in Store notification email, go to your pick up location and head to the register with an "Online Order Pick Up Here" sign.

How can I see if a local store has a particular product in stock?

For products carried in our stores, you can view product availability by looking at the Store Availability section on the product page. At checkout, the product availability will also be displayed when you are selecting your pick up location.

What if an item in my order is not in stock at my pick up location?

To complete your Pick up in Store online order all items need to be in stock at your selected store. Remove any out of stock items from your cart to complete your order.

What do I bring to the store when I go to pick up my order?

Please bring your order number, an electronic or paper copy of your Pick up in Store notification email, and a piece of government-issued photo ID to show the store. The name on the ID must match the name on the order confirmation.

How long will my order be held in store?

Your order will be held at your chosen pick up location for 10 days. If you fail to pick up your order it will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund to the original payment method. If you require an extension, please contact our team at www.canex.ca/contact.

Can I send someone else to pick up my order?

This feature is currently unavailable. If you require assistance, please contact customer care at www.canex.ca/contact.

What if I need to cancel my order?

What if I need to return an item(s) that I ordered?

Our standard return policy applies to Pick up in Store orders. For more information visit https://www.canex.ca/en/canex-return-policy. The customer will be responsible for returning the item to the store.

A product I purchased went on sale before I received my Pick up in Store notification email. Will the price be adjusted?
